"How To Not Be Annoying?"

Some steps that might help you:

1) Build self confidence. Sometimes someone will find you annoying Because You Happen To Do Something That They associate with a negative trait, Such as anxiety, stereotypes, or slovenliness. You should not have to change something about yourself just because someone interprets your behavior inaccurately (presuming it is an inaccurate judgment). But other times, we can be annoying Because we're insecure or we're trying too hard. In Such cases, you can examine why you do things and Perhaps Certain That The Only Reason realize you're doing them is to make a good impression, and it's backfiring on you!

2) Break counterproductive habits. Let's say you've found that you laugh loudly at everyone's jokes, even if they're not all that funny, or perhaps you've gotten in the habit of laughing at inappropriate times. Maybe you started doing it subconsciously because you thought being jubilant and quick to laugh made you more likable, but now all it's doing is annoying everyone you spend time with. Try a different approach - be genuine and be yourself. If people find you annoying when you're being true to yourself, then you need to find new, more accepting people to be around.

3) Respect boundaries. Everybody has boundaries - you need to learn what they are and try to avoid crossing them. Boundaries vary widely from culture to culture and even from individual to individual.

- Do not go around poking people constantly. In fact, don't touch them at all if they don't like it. Of course if they are a good friend of yours and they don't mind, then by all means have fun. Otherwise, keep your hands to yourself.
- Don't talk about people behind their backs; especially if you have not stated your issue with the person in the first place. This is especially true of those who are related to you, or are your friends or significant other.
- Do not impose, or appear uninvited. Try to control your emotions and not be too pushy. Give people space when they need it. Don't call every single day. Remember, the greatest form of annoyance is repetition.
- Do not go through people's stuff. Even if their things are not private, they may still feel violated if you touch things that are in their personal space. If you wish to borrow something, ask for permission first and allow the person to give the item to you.
- Mind your own business. Avoid butting into a conversation by (for example) saying, "What are you talking about?" If you hear someone talking about something with another person, and you only catch the last sentence, leave it be.

4) Be humble. Just because you're confident doesn't mean you have to act like you're better than anyone else. Don't do or say things that might let you appear to be arrogant, like bragging about your wealth or success.

- Don't correct bad grammar/spelling or inaccuracies of others because most people don't like being corrected.
- Don't tell people that their beliefs are wrong. Gently and nicely mention that you disagree. Have a clear moral line and stand by it. For instance, all is fair until you cause harm to another person. Yours may vary, but try to make sure it's used across the board.
- Don't complain all the time. Remember the world does not revolve around you. If you complain too much, others will find you depressing and avoid you. This also goes for constantly insulting yourself, which is not humble - it's another form of self-absorption. It's normal to feel bad once in a while, and to express your discontent. But, you also need to know when to get over it and move on. Read up on how to be optimistic.
- Be mindful of how the things you say are perceived by others. Even if your words are thoughtful and important, your tone of voice may indicate frustration, crankiness, or a condescending attitude, or flippancy or arrogance or any number of things which give folks the wrong impression and causes them to hate your guts.

5) Learn to listen. Conversation is a two way street. If you're talking constantly, others will get frustrated and quit trying to communicate with you. As a general rule, always listen more than you speak. Think about what you say before you say it. Avoid interrupting someone in the middle of a thought, even if it just jogged your memory of something to say. Remember the famous quotation, "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt".

6) Be conscious of your surroundings. Be aware if you are standing in doorways while having a conversation, standing in the middle of an area where people are trying to walk (in stores, malls, or the airport), or if your children are being obnoxious in a public place. Also, do not loudly sing or play music which others are likely to find irritating. Consider how your actions are likely to affect the people around you, and you will gain their respect.

7) Be polite and hygienic. Don't peek down people's shirts for instance, don't pass gas, don’t talk about biological functions in public. Cover your nose and mouth with your elbow when you sneeze or cough. Take care to brush and/or floss after meals so as not to inflict your breath on others. Take a shower everyday and put on clean clothes every day.

8) Learn to read facial reactions and body movements. Pay attention to the facial expressions and body language of those around you and work to immediately identify and stop whatever you're doing that is annoying others.

9) Don't overcrowd. When someone's having a bad day, don't try to hang around them to make them feel better (unless of course they ask). If you were having a bad day, you wouldn't want someone bugging you with failing attempts at pick-me-ups. Ask if they would like your reassurance, but remember that "no" means "no". Only talk about what is bugging them if they bring it up.

10) Avoid unnecessary repetition. Constantly repeating the same action over and over again (Such as Inappropriate making sounds or pulling someone's hair, etc.), Is not the right way of 'getting attention'. If a person says 'stop' That means 'stop'. If you continue without stopping, you might lose a friend.
Do not copy people. If you copy someone they just get annoyed and walk away. You should not copy your friends Because You Could Either risk losing them.
Say it once. Do not say the thing you said twice Because They would say, "I heard you" or "OKAY!" or something like that. It can get annoying to them. They heard it already; They do not want to hear it again.
Do not make repetitive noises. If you find yourself tapping your pencil on the table, chewing with your mouth open ice, tapping your foot against something, clearing your throat excessively, coughing, please stop.

11) Don't argue. Most people dislike arguing. Simply state that you disagree and refrain from setting yourself up as an expert on the subject. A "know-it-all" stance grates on peoples' nerves. Of course, you can have intelligent debates/discussions with a person/people provided the circumstances are appropriate and the other person is willing to engage. Never force someone into a debate. If someone tells you that they would rather not discuss a topic, drop it.

Tips

- Don't know if you are annoying? Ask a person that you would find likely to give you an honest and constructive answer. Be prepared for criticism and be willing to accept it gracefully. The person may not be ready to give it all immediately, so give him/her time by explaining your situation, thoughts, and feelings to make it clear you can handle helpful criticism. Don't take this to an extreme, either, as it will probably be quite annoying itself. Also ask them to keep it updated till you tell them they can, and stop asking at the end of the day.

- If your friends and family are removing themselves from you, it is possible you need to work on your social skills and personal boundaries with a professional counselor or in a group. Creating appropriate boundaries is greatly affected by early experiences over which we have no control. Coming to terms with these experiences may help give you the security you need to create and respect proper boundaries.

- Keep practicing these skills until you get it right - this will be when you feel better and your friends/family talk to you more.

- One thing that many people find annoy is if you cling onto them and don't ever leave their side. Surround yourself with many friends so that you can spend time with many people, and not be perceived to be clinging to one person, which can get annoying.

It's Just A Little Crush

Posted by Unknown on 2:14 AM in , , , , , , ,
So last week my cousins went to my hometown, Manado, spent their lil holiday time.
And it was like, four of em.
1 Hole, 3 Sticks. Is that clear enough for y'all?

No?
It means one girl and three guys.

Maybe we can call it some sorta "reunion".
They're 16-23 years old.
And they're all soooo damn HOT!
Goodness, what kinda trick did their parents made in their process?

Kay kay.. So I've got a crush on the third one.
Let's call him "Dylan".
He's handsome, tall, light skin, HOT, tattoo, rich, cars, beautiful eyes, sexy lips, smokes, young adult, but there's one thing pretty odd about him.
He's well kinda quite, he doesn't like to talk too much.

Hell, I mean, He's like "The Man Who Had Everything" except the confidence to talk.
And I'm his opposite. I talk too much :D Besides that, I'm pretty short, tanned skin (Snooki Wannabe ; Flyer Characteristic ; *dot, dot, nobody asks*) and I don't smoke.

U can see the difference here!

LOL right, I look so fucking short -_-
So awkward..
I'm not wearing any high heels there.
GOD WHY, I should wear them when I took that pic. (*le sad)

Dylan is 19 y.o, and he's in university now.
Is it a crime when If I'm in love with my own cousin, in other words my family member?
LMFAO, Hell no. It's just a lil crush :D

He's super quite, and all I did was talk and ask.
That's the only way to make him give reactions.
It was an easy job for me cause I talk too much :D
It's funny that, I fantasizes about him making out and doing ridiculous thing with me.
LOL, it's a teen-thing right? Use your IMAGINATION people.

(F.I.S.H)

That AWKWARD moment when (Not on purpose) I saw him that morning, opened door,  before he woke up.. Man I saw his morning erection!
LMFAO.
And I made some fantasies and stuff, puberty right?
Everything's gonna be funny and entertaining when you have a dirty mind!
I dunno why, when I see his face, I'm all horny XP
Hello? Remember, "Cousins" ???

Maybe I'm a lil too obsessed with sex huh? But I guess everybody obsesses sex, right?
(*le smiles)

So he left, with the other cousins and his mother just today.
And I'm retarded.
God my precious eye candy's officially gone.
I'll catch him later, when I graduate, next year.

And that's how I loved my own cousin.
Kinda stupid, idiotic. But I heck!

From A Tomboy To A Cheerleader

Posted by Unknown on 4:42 PM in , , , , , , , ,
It feels weird how we used to live the other way than now.

I went from ZERO to HERO!

I'm a BIG dork in Junior High School. At grade 7, I'm like fairly popular because everybody knows that I can sing and draw and I got some sorta popular friends too. And consider that I'm not that dumb, I'm confident to hang out with them.

At grade 8, because of my FOOLISHNESS, I became friends with a dorky loner named Gina a.k.a Vagina! I'm unconsciously too kind and GOD, I'M SCREWED!
My life became miserable ever since that time.
I didn't know that she was lying on the bottom of the social lines.
They're making fun of her cause she's this over the top, disgusting, drama queen.
(*le sigh)

And I DID NOT KNOW THAT.

All I know about her, is that she's miserably kind. I mean kind and caring.
I begged for her food every lunchtime.
I asked for her help every time the laziness comes when it's time to write.
And she's a good listener.
She was acting like that because she doesn't have any friends. Only two friends. Me and my best friend named Pretty.

And in the middle of the semester, shit just happened.
I cutted my hair like a boy. TOMBOY.
Just because I saw a celebrity trends a short hair on television.
WHAT THE FUCK? I know right?
And since that day, I'm officially a TOMBOY.
F.I.S.H (FUCK IT SHIT HAPPENS)
I lose my attractiveness and my beauty!

You know what they say, "You should be grateful for everything that happens in life"
So because I was a TOMBOY, I acted like a boy. And I accepted that.
It's not like because I was a TOMBOY, I am a lesbian.
OMAGOSH! No way, that's nasty!
I got a crush too, I'm just straight as an arrow.
But I'm too shy to say it to them, I'm still a girl, and I may scared them with my looks as a TOMBOY :D

I'm the first TOMBOY girl with boyish hair that time.
And I surprised that there's a chick who copied me, being a tomboy.
HAHA not bad for a TOMBOY huh?

And at grade 9, I graduated with shame because of my short hair LOL.
I've got no boyfriend, no fame, no face.
At least I've got new friends, BETTER, than Gina! :D
My best friends are Kezia and Pretty. They're HAWT LMAO.

It's the end of Junior High School.

NOW IT'S PARTAAAAY TIMEEE!
I'm a freakin High Schooler now bitches!!!
Time to shine and to be on top.
It's really tired being the underdog all the time ;)

I started High School with girly look, extension hair, big smile on my face, and bunch of popular girls in my side.
They keep tellin me on how to walk, how to talk, what to do, what to wear, what extracurricular to choose and many more!
I'm feelin so much like a girl, and tingly inside.
Which reminds me of my past, the fact that I'm a TOMBOY.
It's now a nightmare for me.

And one of my friend named Maria, asked me to join the Cheerleading Squad.
And I was like "Okay now it's my chance to prove the world that I'm better than what y'all think of me!". I'm motivated, so, I accepted the offer she gave!
Now I'm a Cheerleader, not bad for an ex-tomboy person ;)

Consider my physique, that I'm a small-petite kinda girl, they voted me as a top person/flyer. It feels great to jump above the others!
I keep practicing with my ICC Gliders Cheerleading Squad, harder and harder.
Every stretches, stunts, jumps, tumblings, contests I feel fiery inside.
It feels great too to hang out with my cheerleader friends, male and female :D
Some of the male cheerleaders are gays, LOL. They're so funny and crazy.

I've got so many friends, from the Cheerleading Squad, School Council Members, and of course my girls! FAMONIZER!

World really is spinning around y'all.
So it's not possible for us to be a better person than who we are now.
Just don't hide your true personality to somebody you're not.
Everybody has their own shine inside their heart. ;)

High School Stereotypes

Posted by Unknown on 12:38 PM in , , , , ,
High school is a term for education system used to describe institutions which provide all or part of secondary education, but not always the highest years of basic education, which can be called a "secondary school" or "secondary college" or other terms, depending on the nation or region. The phrase "high school" is often incorporated into the name of the related institutions.

Stereotype
Stereotype is a belief that may be adopted about specific types of individuals or certain ways of doing things, but that belief may or may not accurately reflect reality. However, this is only a fundamental psychological definition of a stereotype. Within and across different psychology disciplines, there are different concepts and theories of stereotyping that provide their own expanded definition. Some of these definitions share commonalities, though each one may also harbor unique aspects that may complement or contradict the others. Stereotypes are not what every person may be. Everyone is unique and do not have to follow a particular stereotype, unless they choose to. Stereotypes may be offensive to some people.

ATHLETES(The popular people;hunks, players, preps, party animals, queen bees) are people who joins the sports team at school. Such as a Cheerleader (is an athlete who supports a sports team by leading the crowd in cheers. Some cheerleaders like All-Star cheerleaders, don't do sideline, they only compete. Cheerleaders stunt, tumble, jump, and dance. You can become a Cheerleader at your local area school or association or look up on the internet for All-Star teams you would like to be in.) and a Jock (The term jock, when used primarily in the US, refers to the classic stereotype of a male athlete. It is generally attributed mostly to high school and college athletics participants who form a distinct youth subculture. In sociology, the jock is thought to be included within the socialite subculture, which also contains the preps and Ivy-Leaguers. As a blanket term, jock can be considered synonymous with athlete.
Similar words that may mean the same as jock include meathead, musclebrain, and musclehead. These terms are based on the stereotype that a jock is muscular, but not very smart, and cannot carry a conversation on any topic other than one relating to sports or exercices.)

A BULLY/THUG/GANGSTER is someone who is habitually mean to others, inflicting both physical and psychological abuse on his or her victims.
Bullies can appear at schools, in workplaces, and on the Internet. Bullying can also take on an international scale when nations bully each other with their politics and militaries.
Bullying can be extremely harmful on every level, and there are a variety of ways to deal with bullies and their actions.

EMO/GOTH/SKATER  is an emotionally I'm-so-stuck-in-the-middle sort of person which doesn't know what to do. A person that sort of keeps away from the lime light and doesn't have many friends .
Emo/Goth/Skater is a person who dresses with black and tight jeans and tight shirts and spikes and sometimes eyeliner and sometimes black nail polish and an emo bag if he/she wishes.
And black hair someitmes with another unusual color like blue/red/purple, some piercings and other stuff like that.

A NERD/GEEK/DORK is a derogatory stereotype of a person typically described as socially-impaired, obsessive, or overly intellectual. They may spend inordinate amounts of time on unpopular, obscure, or highly technical pursuits, or those relating to topics of fiction or fantasy, to the exclusion of more mainstream activities. Other nerdy qualities include physical awkwardness, introversion, quirkiness, and unattractiveness. Thus, a nerd is often excluded from physical activity and is a social outsider. In the stereotypical high-school situation, they may be either considered loners by others, or associate with a small group of like-minded people. As with other pejoratives, nerd has been reappropriated by some as a term of pride and group identity.Has strong aptitude in the sciences, math, and particularly computer science, and who may also be viewed as out of step with popular culture in matters of dress, or who is socially awkward. The designation of nerd may simply be applied to a person whose uniqueness sets them apart from what is considered the "norm," for no particular reason at all. The term is first mentioned in the Dr. Seuss book, If I Ran the Zoo, which was published in 1950.

TOMBOY/LESBIAN is a girl who exhibits characteristics or behaviors considered typical of the gender role of a boy, including the wearing of typically masculine-oriented clothes and engaging in games and activities that are often physical in nature, and which are considered in many cultures to be the domain of boys.
In recent times, as the ubiquity of traditionally female clothing such as dresses, blouses, and skirts has declined among Western females, the distinction has become more and more one of behavior. A general increase in the popularity of women's sporting events and other activities that were traditionally male-dominated is today broadening tolerance and lessening the impact of 'tomboy' as a pejorative term.
There is a perceived correlation between tomboys and lesbianism. While some tomboys later reveal a lesbian identity in their adolescent or adult years, behavior typical of boys but displayed by girls is not a true indicator of one's sexual orientation.

GAY/HOMOSEXUAL
The term was originally used to refer to feelings of being "carefree", "happy", or "bright and showy"; it had also come to acquire some connotations of "immorality" as early as 1637. The term's use as a reference to homosexuality may date as early as the late 19th century, but its use gradually increased in the 20th century. In modern English, gay has come to be used as an adjective, and as a noun, referring to the people, especially to men, and the practices and cultures associated with homosexuality. By the end of the 20th century, the word gay was recommended by major LGBT groups and style guides to describe people attracted to members of the same sex. At about the same time, a new, pejorative use became prevalent in some parts of the world. In the Anglosphere, this connotation, among younger speakers, has a derisive meaning equivalent to rubbish or stupid (as in "That's so gay."). In this use, the word does not mean "homosexual", so it can be used, for example, to refer to an inanimate object or abstract concept of which one disapproves. This usage can also refer to weakness or unmanliness. When used in this way, the extent to which it still retains connotations of homosexuality has been debated and harshly criticized.

HIPPIES were teenagers and young adults during the 1960s and early 1970s who were part of the counterculture movement. They were in favor of peace and a loving attitude to all mankind while against war and violence. It is often said that they were for a "free love" society where everyone was free to love anyone whom they chose to. They were against the government of the day and are seen as one of the first environmentalists. Most people think to become hippies, a person must listen to certain music, dress in tie-dye clothing and often uses psychedelic drugs or marijuana. I personally have looked up serval dictionaries for the definition of "hippie"; this is what I found. Young person who rejects established mores, advocates nonviolence, and often uses psychedelic drugs or marijuana; also: long-haired unconventionally dressed young person. Well, I personally don't use any drugs or smoke pot. I obviously don't wear tie-dye clothing all the time; and I do not have long hair. So, what's hippie? I believe it is the way you think, which makes you a hippie. Not whether you smoke pot or not. A hippie is someone who believes in peace, love and freedom. A hippie is someone who appreciated simple life and cares for the environment. A hippie is a person who hates violence and wars. Hippies are peopling who just being who they are and accepting and embracing others for who they are. If you find all of these qualities within you, than, there is a really high chance of you being a hippie.

So which one best describes YOURSELF in High School?
